Regional Director of Therapy

Kate Lucius-Smith

Kathleen Lucius-Smith, aka Kate, a Regional Director of Therapy for Coordinated Therapy Solutions covering the NH region.  She brings 25 years of experience in both the Geriatric and the Pediatric realm of therapy. She started her journey at Keene State College for Early Childhood Education but discovered that was not her calling in life and enrolled in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Claremont Technical College and have been practicing since 1998. 

Kate has worked in long-term care for 16+ years and has over 6 years of experience as a Director of Therapy. She has a background in Dementia, and program development, and demonstrates a proven track record with implementing systems in her programs. 

When Kate is not working, she spends her time traveling and supporting her 3 teenage children: Gracyn, Gus, and Griffyn on various courts or fields cheering them on as they play Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Lacrosse, and Volleyball. Kate’s hobbies include horseback riding, snowmobiling, hiking, and house remodeling.  When rejuvenating, you can find Kate at the river with a book in hand. 

Kate is passionate about providing education to others regarding the great big world of therapy and all it has to offer.  She prides herself in thinking outside of the box to assist in achieving the patient’s individual goals. She is a firm believer that every team member brings their own piece to the puzzle to interlock and formulate the whole picture to achieve the best possible outcome.
